After reading the wonderful Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley, I have become a menace with the camera. This short book has morphed my world into this beautifully aesthetic wonderland. To find beauty in the ordinary, by looking up, to looking around and investigating. I live in Birmingham UK, which isn't the most revered city for its aesthetic. However, keeping my eyes peeled this last couple months, I have managed to find such beauty in my city, a city I always disliked for its overarching darkness and monotony which I also feel reflects in many of us Brummies general attitudes.
